Teil des Projekts 99 Songs of Love, Peace and Rebellion.
Whose Land Whose Home
There's a glen where the walls stand bare heather growing where the hearth used to share they moved the people, they kept the sheep and left the names for the wind to keep
But the ground remembers what the paper sold every stone in the valley still knows
Whose land, whose hand, whose home we've been asking since they drove us from our own two hundred years and the question stands whose land, whose land, whose land
Now we argue in the pouring rain half of us leaving, half of us staying the same old question, a different year and the glen is still standing here
And the ground remembers what the paper sold every stone in the valley still knows
Whose land, whose hand, whose home we've been asking since they drove us from our own two hundred years and the question stands whose land, whose land, whose land
They took the ground, they banned the tongue but the songs came home and the pipes still sound Tha sinn fhathast ann – we are still here we were never gone, we will not disappear
Whose land, whose hand, whose home we've been asking since they drove us from our own two hundred years and the question stands whose land, whose land, whose land
...and the glen remembers
