«Millions of Eyes» es una meditación paranoica de synth-pop sobre la vigilancia y la paradoja de ser observado sin ser visto. En tres estrofas, cámaras públicas, datos de internet y mensajería, y la reciente ley alemana que permite a los servicios secretos entrar sin motivo en una consulta médica, la canción dibuja un mundo de observación total. Pero el estribillo da el giro psicológico: tanto mirar, y nadie mira de verdad. Esa brecha entre ser vigilado y ser visto, dice la canción, es terreno fértil para la depresión.
