Vedanto_Art · Stefan Höhne
Vedanto is Stefan Höhne, a general practitioner born in 1973, from Wandlitz near Berlin. Under this name, since September 2026, the 99 Songs of Love, Peace and Revolution have been appearing: one song per language, theme and style — protest songs, love songs and dance tracks in English, German, Spanish, Mandarin and Russian. Twenty-one songs are out so far, two of them as pre-releases, all on Bandcamp, pay what you want.
How it is made is written on every page: lyrics, concept, selection and production are Vedanto's; composition, instruments and voice come from Suno, an AI music model; the cover art from Venice AI and Grok. That is the method, not a secret — much as sequencers and samplers have been producing music since the eighties, except that here the decisions fall in a different place: in the words, in the language, in the choice of which take survives.
What the songs are about: taxes and emigration as an Irish famine ballad, rearmament as a German singer-songwriter piece, the pressure of 996 work culture as Mandopop with guzheng and erhu, peace between brother nations as Russian pop, love as merengue, tango and bachata. Each song in the language of the people it is about.
For press, blogs, playlists and radio: the lyrics are on each song's page, three songs to listen to are below, image and contact follow. Interviews in German or English; replies usually the same day.
A folk ballad in the tradition of the Great Famine songs of 1848, sung in English and Irish Gaelic — and set in today's Germany, where two parts of three of what you earn go to the state, and the tired ones start to leave again. Acoustic guitar and fiddle, a pub that empties with every verse.
A classical Argentine tango, set in La Boca in Buenos Aires: two people learning to dance without masks, shedding the armour of pride that keeps them safe and alone. Male and female voice in turn, each with their own fortress of stone and ice — until the embrace dissolves it. One millimetre of skin between them, and in that space the whole universe vibrates.
New rearmament in old rhetoric, and the forgotten lesson that no one wins a war. A German song against the drift towards it.
