"Dead Air" is a claustrophobic synth-pop dive into digital overwhelm. Built on flickering synths and fragmented drum patterns, the track captures the sensation of drowning in an endless feed—where real and fake, truth and lie all play at the same volume. The chorus is a shout into the noise: "Static! In my head!" Unlike the later songs on the album, it offers no resolution—the outro dissolves back into hiss, unresolved. The mind is full, but the soul can't read.
Images, images, none of them stay
Faces and places then fade away
Sequence on sequence, an endless feed
The brain is full but the soul can't read
Scroll, scroll, scroll
Losing control
Is any of this even real?
Static! In my head!
Everything loud, nothing said
Dead Air! Can't break through
Real and fake look the same too
Truth and the lie, same volume, same pace
A flood with no filter, no quiet, no space
How do I know what is pure, what is true?
When the noise never stops, what am I supposed to do?
Turn it off... it comes back
Tune it out... it attacks
Silence is a foreign land
I forgot how to stand
Drowning in sequences, gasping for air
A million signals, no meaning to share
Paralyzed in the now, lost in the stream
The feed goes on, and I'm not home
Static! In my head!
Everything loud, nothing said
Dead Air! Can't break through...
Static... Dead Air...
Static... Dead Air...
Static...
Dead Air...
