«Fast and Free» es una reflexión de synth-pop, entre nostálgica y desafiante, sobre el arte perdido del riesgo. Inspirada en la despreocupación del cine de los años sesenta, coches descapotables, cócteles, cigarrillos, sin cinturón, contrapone aquella libertad sensual a la existencia estéril y aséptica de hoy. El puente se vuelve frío y acusador: sin humo, sin sal, sin azúcar, «sanos hasta la tumba». Un grito rebelde para quien prefiere vivir peligrosamente a no vivir con seguridad.
